Devils Tower, WY

Fierce.

Guess we're having mashed potatoes for dinner... (thanks for the line, @lostworldluis). #airstream #liveriveted #myrivetedlife #devilstower #wyoming #fulltimefamilies #roadtrip #roadtrippin

It's official. We've got a walker! (And a big sister who knows when not to push things) #fulltimefamilies #familytravel #travelwithkids #airstream #airstreamwithkids #myrivetedlife #liveriveted #devilstower #wyoming

Nevermind the 867 foot tower formed when magma cooled and formed a plug deep within a volcano only to be revealed 50 million years later when the surrounding soil eroded, check out those prairie dogs! Still, she did manage to have enough interest to earn her 11th Junior Ranger badge (10 was Yellowstone but I don't think we mentioned it)! #juniorranger #devilstower #wyoming #prairiedog #childhoodunplugged #whackamole #roadschool

While there are differing legends among the various tribes of the Plains Indians about Devils Tower, most have in common the vertical marks on the side having been scratched in by the claws of a huge bear. #devilstower #wyoming #nps #findyourpark

Okay, last one from Devils Tower and mostly just posting as an excuse to ask for advice on the Black Hills and Custer State Park. We'll stay there for two nights before heading to the Badlands (then we *really* have to start making progress east). I see the reviews of Blue Bell and Center Lake on @campendium, but would love some input on what to do in the area with only one full day. Custer's supposed to be an interesting town? Thanks in advance! #devilstower #wyoming
