I just happened to see a flyer at the visitor center in Lunenburg for something called the Wharf Rat Rally in Digby. Since we'd planned to be in Digby anyway to catch a ferry, I have a feeling we wouldn't have missed the over 1,000 motorcycles lining the streets of downtown even without it. While I like looking at anything with two wheels, there were only a couple old Triumphs and Nortons that really caught my eye in the sea of Harley's, big Yamahas and Victories. Somehow, Mae slept peacefully in the stroller admits all the loud pipes. #potatopotatopotato

I realized this morning that we haven't posted any pictures of the Airstream in inspiring places lately. Well, that streak is still intact. While this CG/trailer park is convenient for exploring a few things in the area and catching a ferry on Mon, I'd prob give this place a little more credit if we hadn't had literally three groups yelling backing advice at us from all sides as we got settled. Let's see, 2 yrs on the road is about 700 days, at an average of 3 days per stop, we've done this over 230 times. #airstream #notsorivetingatthemoment #okayillstopwhining

We've seen these red chairs all over the Canadian National Parks we've visited in the last month, but today, in front the rebuilt fort at Port Royal that was the first European (French) settlement in Nova Scotia in the early 1600's, seemed like the perfect time to take a load off. #sharethechair #parkscanada #novascotia #visitnovascotia #portroyal #familytravel #travelwithkids

We've been collecting magnets in our travels. The bulk of them live on strips of metal strapping we stuck to the upper cabinets, but the latest ones run around the stove vent. We can't always find a magnet we like, but some of our favorites have been the ones we've made by sticking a magnet onto the back of a pin, keychain, Christmas ornament, koozie, beer label or motorcycle rally patch. We're still planning to archive the ones from this trip onto a vinyl map of North America stuck onto some sheet metal in the new house. #lifeontheroad #magnetcollection #airstream #roadtrip #liveriveted #myrivetedlife

After a much needed wash for the truck and trailer, we headed out the long Digby Neck peninsula looking for a spot to waste some time until our 5:30 pm ferry over to New Brunswick. Well, we found ourselves a ferry afterall where the road suddenly ended halfway out the spit in a line of cars waiting for the next boat across the bay. That necessitated a very tight and widely spectated three point turnaround - no one offered unsolicited advice this time, possibly because it probably looked there was no way in hell I was gonna make it and only barely did. With nerves frazzled, we backtracked and took a dirt side road following a sign for Whale Cove. I think we found our spot for lunch and to go through all the kids' clothes. #ourlifeisweird #airstream #liveriveted #myrivetedlife #novascotia #visitnovascotia #ourgpslovesferries

First on and first in position to get off, although I don't know if the 2 1/2 hour crossing of the Bay of Fundy will be enough time to play in the kids area, watch the movie in the lounge, grab a lobster roll and binge on free wifi. @nflbayferries #imonaboat #airstream #liveriveted #myrivetedlife #landyachtonaregularyacht
