Weather may be changing by the end of the week, so we figured we'd get in an afternoon at the beach with @livingistheadventure and @h_livingistheadventure. As always, the older girls played happily together while Mae shoveled sand into a bucket, the moms collected shells and the dads talked about flat screen mounts. Wait, where are the kids? Oh, two in the tent (one of them borrowed) and one playing in the double stroller. Sun tea on the propane tanks is almost ready to make up a batch of RivetTea. The way I parked with the door opening to the water and back end of the trailer screening us a bit from the road, there was no way our power cord would reach. Mae is pretty hilarious right now. She's trying her best to interact with everyone, playing with the bigger girls and practicing facial expressions with the adults. So it turns out we've been caravanning with @livingistheadventure and @h_livingistheadventure for all but a few days of the last four weeks (Happy Monthiversary, guys!). And while it's certainly true that having these two girls together is somehow easier than dealing with them one on one, the adults actually get along too! In fact, we've got another week and a half planned visiting some beaches and springs in the panhandle and hope to meet back up for the drive up the Blueridge. #littleairstreamfriends #bigairstreamfriends

Hi class low ball. In the trailer, these jars do triple duty as whiskey glasses, espresso shots and kids cups with silicone sippy lids. We store them in extra koozies while underway. After balking at the price of all the "whiskey stones" I'd seen and actually preferring ice (though we'd ditched our ice tray for more freezer space), I realized these tiny containers we used to use for baby food form a large cube perfect for a couple fingers of the Noah's Mill Small Batch we picked up in Bardstown, KY at the recommendation of @lostworldluis. Yeah, that's really where we are! After a really nice lunch with @lostworldluis's mom and sister in Apalachicola, we drove out the 4 mile bridge (3rd longest in FL) to the narrow spit of St. George Island. While rain, wind and thunderstorms don't affect our current activities of boiling eggs to dye for tomorrow, we're hoping for at least a quick clearing so we can see where the heck we are. And then it rained, so we watched it fall and drank mimosas at @livingistheadventure and @h_livingistheadventure's. And it rained some more, so we made popcorn and piled 7 people on their lounge and watched "Inside Out." And it kept raining, so we made the kids mac n' cheese and tried to keep them from tormenting the cats. Still raining, so we'll put them to bed and try for a "civilized" dinner with just adults after bed time.
